Camp Tee Time

Hello Family!!! My first post on our family website. I really thank Lara and Amy for starting this blog. I love reading about all of you. Anyways, before we know it we will again be on the great Trek to our beloved Beaver River for a week of fun, relaxation, and eating. The past two years I have really enjoyed designing the camp tee for all of you, as you are my inspiration! I would like to get the tee finalized and ordered by June 1st. I am having my tonsils out on May 30th and we know that June will be busy with weddings, and me starting my new job at Strong. Yeah! So far I have received some great ideas for the camp tee.

Idea #1
The "Priceless" Theme:

Something like....
Camp Expenses:
Lunch at Lowville McDonald's $100
6 cars on the barge $300
20 lbs. of lunchmeat $130
A bag of ice at the lodge $4.50

A week at the camp
Priceless

Idea #2
The "Vegas" Theme
Using the motto: What happens at the camp, stays at the camp!

Idea #3
A Camp Rules Theme

eg: No judging...(we would need help developing more rules)

So those are just some ideas that were sent to me. Please leave comments for me on what you like and don't like. Once decided upon I am still going to keep the colors, fonts, etc... a secret, as it is fun to have the "big reveal" on the first night at the camp. One thing I have decided on is that this year we will be having long sleeve tees. This suggestion came from no other than Mia. Here is a portion of the email Mia sent me from Italy making this request. I think you will all see she makes some valid points.

Dear Kat,
I am suggesting long sleeve shirts because A) I have too many short sleeve shirts and B) It is cold at the camp, at least at night C) It's something different D) I like long sleeve shirts. Haha, so if those aren't good enough. Fine. I guess short sleeve it is.

Great suggestion Mia!!!

Lastly, under the comments section please place your order for this year's tee. They will cost approximately 16 dollars (slightly more than last year as we are getting long sleeve, but well worth the investment). Please leave the size for each person as I like to go ahead and write the names on the tag, as this causes less confusion as to who's is who's at the camp. Just an FYI... I already have orders/sizes from Troy St., Rumsey St., Barker St., and Harwin Dr. You do not need to go on the the camp trip to buy a tee... but who wouldn't go???? It's so fun!

Kat, for idea #1, you need to include beer.

Mike and I will probably both take an XL. (I like mine big.) Jack needs an 18 mo (or 2T if they don't go that small.)
