Beginning this past Friday and extending every Friday through the summer there is "Pub Night" at Wagner Winery. From 8 til 11 pm, Wagner features their beers and wines along with some local entertainment. This week I tagged along with Aunt Jill, Uncle Jamie, Adam, and Tia to this delightful event. Let me set the stage for you... it was my official last day of nursing school. Secondly, I made the mistake of trying to keep up with Tia. What was I thinking??? Uncle Jamie brought me along thinking I was a lock for "designated driver". That never happened. Much beer, wine, and fun was had by all. Aunt Jill and I danced to the "old-tyme rock and roll" band- which I believe a highlight of their performance was the "Happy Days Theme Song". I hate to admit, but following this night of fun was a horrible next day. I think I figured out that I had not thrown up from alcohol in 7 years. At 2pm the following afternoon I met Uncle Joe and Aunt Laurie down at "the office", where Uncle Joe officially diagnosed me as "Hungover". I am thankful to say that he did not bill my insurance for this visit. He sent me home with a script for Phenergen and told me to get some sleep. 20 hours later I was back to new. Even though the following day and a half was rough I would still highly recommend this event. Next time I am definately in for being designated driver. I believe I am much better at playing that role. Check out the photos we took. It was an absolutely gorgeous night on Seneca Lake. By the way, we had an opportunity to try out the "Lodi water", and it's delicious! Uncle Jamie was happy about that, now that he is indeed a Lodi tax payer. We figured out that once their house is built, we can drive up to Wagners through the dirt road via golf cart. I can only wait for that!
